Summary of the 25th meeting
Professor emeritus Lennart Köhler, former Dean of the Nordic School of Public Health NHV gave a presentation on Measuring and monitoring children’s health – experiences in Child Public Health. It was discussed The connection between health and economic capital (no connection), between health and social capital (connection), and between economic and social capital (no connection). Professor Köhler emphasized the importance of making a fourth follow-up on the large NordChild study that has been done 1984, 1996 and 2011.After the presentation Health Promotion, the Nordic perspective, and the intersection between the two, Health Promotion in a Nordic perspective was discussed. The participants also met in their working groups and thereafter they reported about their activities.
