Intersectoral Action for Health

Persistent health inequities have led to calls for intersectoral action, such as Health in All Policies, as a key health promotion strategy to improve health and reduce health inequity. This working group (IAH) was established in 2024 to explore intersectoral action for health in the Nordic Countries. We aim to identify, describe and compare policies, governance structures, values, and professional practices, among others, that enable intersectoral collaboration. In the first project we explore: is there a Nordic model, and if so, what characterizes intersectoral health promotion in the Nordic countries?
