Second meeting summary

 

The second meeting (November 21-22, 2007)The Nordic Health Promotion Research Network held its second meeting at NHV on November 21-22. During the well-attended meeting the framework and structure for the network were strengthened.An issue that was brought up during the meeting was the relationship between the concepts “health prevention” and “health promotion”. A discussion was also held on the topic of how work being carried out within health promotion can be structured from a Nordic perspective.

The network’s goal is to develop research within health promotion and also develop joint research courses.
