Summary of the 32nd meeting
The twenty second meeting of the Nordic Health Promotion Research Network was held 8-9 December 2022. The first day Ms Katrine Habersaat, Regional Advisor, Behavioural and Cultural Insights, WHO Regional Office for Europe, presented the key elements of the program which is one of the four flagship programes at the WHO European office for the moment. Professor Claudia Meier Magistretti, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, gave a presentation on the subject: People-Planet-Health – A global initiative on planetary health and health equity. The presentation introduced e.g., the new concept of Planetary Salutogenesis. During the rest of the afternoon there were meetings in the working groups. Day 2 Professor Eva-Carin Lindgren, School of Health and Welfare, Halmstad University, Sweden, responsible for the next health promotion conference reported about the conference. She welcomed new additional abstracts by the deadline 15th of January, 2023. Before the meeting closed it was decided that at the next meeting in spring 2023 the Health Literacy group will make a presentation of their work. Additionally, Professor Charli Eriksson will give a presentation about historical insights of HP. The two forthcoming years Finland will be responsible for the meetings and Merja Männistö will be the convener.
Next meeting, the 32nd will be held at WHO, Copenhagen on the 23-24 March (or 21-21 March). The autumn meeting was decided to the 7-8 December and the spring meeting 2024 to 14-15 March.
