Summary of the 33rd meeting
The thirty-third meeting of the Nordic Health Promotion Research Network was held 9-10th March 2023. The first day Professor emeritus Charli Eriksson also member of the network, gave a presentation on the subject ”Historical insights in social medicine, public health and health promotion in the Nordic research collaboration – time to celebrate”. Thereafter members of the network´s Health literacy group ( Dr. Stefanie Harsch, professor emerita Karin C Ringsberg, professor emeritus Per Tillgren, Dr. Thomas Tjelta, presented the group´s past and ongoing work. Both presentations were followed by discussions in plenum. These sessions could also be followed via Zoom. Thereafter time was set aside for work in the working groups.
The second day individual members of the NHPRN briefly presented their own research. Presentations were done by:Charli Ericson – “Nordic part of the HBSC study”, Julie Dalgaard Guldager – “Youth digital health and physical activity at school”, Ditte Heering Holt – “Partnerships across sectors”, Berit Misund Dahl – “Early intervention for youth at school/public health school nurses”, Merja Männistö – ”DIGIWELLBEING AND HEALTH PROMOTION”. Thereafter the NHPRN working groups reported about their ongoing work.
Next meeting the 34th will be held at WHO, Copenhagen the 7-8 December 2023. The spring 2024 meeting is planned to 14-15 March and the autumn meeting in December. One of these meetings will be online and just for one day. More information will be given about that.
