Summary of the sixteenth meeting

 The 16th Nordic Health Promotion Research Network meeting was held the 11^th– 12^th December 2014 at the Nordic School of Public Health, NHV, Gothenburg. Professor Bjarne Bruun Jensen gave a lecture on ”Difference between health promotion and health promotion research. Doing research together”. Professor Bo Haglund gave a lecture on “The Marmot commission”. After the lectures, a discussion followed in small groups and in plenum. The working groups met thereafter in their respective working groups. The second day of the meeting was also reserved for further work in the working groups.

This was the last time the meeting took place at NHV. In future the meetings will be held at WHO in Copenhagen.

Next workshop the 17th, will be held on the19^th-20^th of March 2015.

Finland will be in charge for the meetings during 2015-2016. Sami Kokko will be the chairman.
