Summary of the 35th meeting, 14-15th March 2024, WHO Copenhagen
The 35th meeting of the Nordic Health Promotion Research Network was held on 14th – 15th March 2024. On the first day, Hanna Dunning, Technical Officer at WHO Copenhagen, associated with the WHO European Healthy Cities Network, gave a presentation on the project ”Copenhagen Consensus of Mayors: Healthier and Happier Cities for All”. She also talked about the historical development of healthy cities Ottawa-Copenhagen Consensus. After a plenary discussion, the participants met in their respective working groups.
The second day began with working groups. After that, Professor Charlie Eriksson, a member of the network, presented the work of the group “ PhD Review of Nordic Theses.“ The presentation covered the typology of knowledge, theory, and intervention models, topics, population, and settings. The members of the group are currently working on a scientific paper. Thereafter, the other working groups gave short presentations on their ongoing work. After that, time was set aside for work in the working groups.
The next meeting, the 36th, will be held at WHO in Copenhagen on 28 -29 November 2024. The spring meeting is planned for 10–11 April 2025 at WHO, Copenhagen.
